The Rovinj Ride & Sunset Sail

Your tour kicks off in Pula, where you'll meet in the morning and set out on your bikes, cycling north along the stunning Adriatic coastline to Rovinj.

In Rovinj, you'll stop for a delicious lunch at a restaurant, which serves fresh catches prepared daily based on what local fishermen have brought in. You can also try Istrian specialties like fuži pasta with boškarin meat.

After lunch, check into your hotel, the elegant Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico situated right in Rovinj's old town.

After relaxing you'll take a late afternoon sunset sailing cruise around the Rovinj harbor to soak in views of the sea and coastline while sipping local wine.

Later in the evening enjoy a dinner featuring regional specialties, just steps from the water's edge in Rovinj's atmospheric old town.

Day 2
Vineyards of Poreč

After breakfast at your Rovinj hotel, you'll set out on a morning ride to Poreč, cycling through beautiful Istrian countryside and vineyards.

In Poreč, you'll stop for a tasty lunch where you can sample fresh seafood and seasonal regional dishes.

Next, check into the Martis Forum Heritage Hotel, your accommodations for the night. In the afternoon you'll visit the renowned Damjanic Winery for a wine tasting, trying some of Istria's most popular varietals.

Later, take a stroll through Poreč's picturesque UNESCO-listed old town to see the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica, a stunning Byzantine-era church adorned with magnificent mosaics.

You'll cap the day with dinner at Sveti Nikola, located right on the Poreč waterfront.

Day 3
Motovun’s Olive Oil

After breakfast, you'll cycle inland through rolling hills and vineyards to the medieval hilltown of Motovun, a hub of truffle culture.

In Motovun you'll enjoy lunch at the hotel, where you can enjoy an amazing meal complimented perfectly with the stunning view off their patio

Next you'll check into the chic Roxanich Winery Hotel, set amongst Motovun's vineyards. In the afternoon you'll tour the Ipsa estate for olive oil and wine tastings amidst their picturesque groves and mill.

In the evening, indulge in another truffle-themed meal at Konoba Mondo, trying dishes like beef cheeks and gnocchi topped with shaved white truffles sourced right from the Motovun forest.

Day 4
Truffle Hunting & Brtonigla

Today, you'll start the day with an expertly guided truffle hunting excursion in the forest. An experienced local known, Harry will lead your group in search of these pungent delicacies before a tasting of truffle-infused treats.

Next you'll take a short tour of Motovun's historic architecture and panoramic views. After a light lunch if desired, you'll hop on your bike for an afternoon ride with beautiful sea views in the distance.

In Brtonigla, you'll check into the San Rocco Brtonigla hotel. Tonight you can opt to dine at the hotel's gourmet restaurant.

Day 5
Piran & Portorož

After breakfast, you'll ride to picturesque Piran, Slovenia along the Adriatic coast and pass through the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, home to the largest salt evaporation ponds in Slovenia.

In Piran, you'll enjoy a lunch at Gostilna Park, savoring dishes like salt-crusted branzino with waterfront views.

Tonight, you'll check into the 5-star luxury Kempinski Palace Portorož. The rest of your afternoon is free to relax on Piran's or Portorož beaches or wander the winding marble alleyways and medieval squares of this charming coastal town.

Day 6
Truffle Hunting & Brtonigla

After breakfast, you'll ride your way to Trieste, Italy for the last day of riding on the trip.

In Trieste, you can fuel up with a tasty seafood lunch at Trattoria Nerodiseppia, known for excellent pasta and regional specialties. Be sure to have an espresso or cappuccino, as Trieste is the home of the famous Illy coffee.

Next, board an afternoon train to Venice, arriving in the evening. You'll check into the Hotel Liassidi Palace, located just minutes walk from Piazza San Marco.

In the evening, you'll enjoy dinner at the acclaimed restaurant La Zucca, savoring their meat-focused Venetian classics and regional wine pairings.
