Daily Themes & Highlights
Monday – Bike Skills & Confidence Building
We kick off the week with a focus on foundational riding skills: body position, braking, and shifting. Campers will gain confidence on their bikes through games and drills, then apply their skills on guided rides through beginner-friendly trails.
Tuesday – Navigation & Orienteering
Campers will learn how to read trail maps, understand trail signs, and develop spatial awareness. We'll introduce orienteering games to practice these skills in a fun and dynamic setting, promoting problem-solving and teamwork.
Wednesday – Pond & Beach Exploration (no swimming)
We’ll ride to one of White Memorial’s beautiful water features and investigate pond life up close. Campers will learn about aquatic ecosystems, animal tracks, and shoreline habitats through guided exploration and observation.
Thursday – Plants & Animals Day
From towering trees to tiny insects, Thursday is all about the flora and fauna of the forest. Campers will identify native species, learn how animals adapt to their environment, and engage in nature scavenger hunts and guided hikes through meadows and wooded areas.
Friday – Field Day & Camp Celebration
To wrap up the week, we’ll bring everyone together for a morning of games, bike relays, and outdoor fun. It’s a day for celebration, reflection, and enjoying everything we’ve learned.
